Number one-The President needs to be a champion of the people of the United States, defending their freedoms and rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
Number two-The President must be the United States number one ambassador, forging strong alliance and networks of communication among world leadership.
obama has neither of these traits, in fact, when it comes to the second trait mentioned it was unequivocally stated this past week that creating relationships with foreign leaders "was not his thing". A decidedly different position than what he ran on in '08. I guess it is ok with his supporters that he lied, and with the media because they simply gloss over it.
This past week the lies continued and the media continued to gloss over them as obama addressed world leadership in New York, preaching about the 'video' he blames the attack in Libya on and the continued anti-American discourse around the globe...
All this while it has already been proven Libya was an act of terrorism. The word is out that the whereabouts of some of the terrorists was known with in 24 hours of the attack. However it was more important for obama to be rubbing elbows with the 1% from Hollywood. Campaigning on more of his do nothing rhetoric.
As of this writing the FBI hasn't even landed in Libya yet. Why is there no outrage at this ineptness by obama and his utter disregard for American life that led to the outcome of this attack?
On to obama's latest 'to do' list. It's a five point campaign promise sheet being passed around, and referred to in his commercials, which will undoubtedly find its way to the dust filled hole now housing the fictional novel 'blueprint for change' obama put out in '08.
First obama states that he will create 1 million jobs by 2016. Funny, he said the same thing in '08. Yet his policies have done nothing to encourage job growth. There are actually fewer people working today than when obama took office. If he could create even one job, why would he wait until his second term to do it?
Do you actually believe he has had some divine revelation of process?
Next he states that he is going to train 2 million people in community colleges for the work force. Looking at obama's record, what sector do you think those jobs will be in? Has he already spoken to the unions that support him, or is this yet another knife in their backs as well? Why not address the fact that college tuition rates have outpaced inflation rates by as much as 5.94% over the past 20 years? Do something about that and let the American people decide what they want to do to earn a living.
Next obama states that he will give tax breaks to those companies that 'invest in America'. Right. And those companies won't be giving huge contributions to the dnc. obama is outright stating that he is opening the
American wallet to his buddies. You only need to look at obama's green initiative and the solyndra debacle to foresee what's ahead.
obama wants to double exports. he's not joking. Yet, during his term debt has overtaken GDP. Kind of hard to export garage sale items no one wants, and obama's policies, again, have done nothing to stimulate manufacturing growth. You want historical proof? Let's look at the hated Bush years. In 8 years bush grew the deficit to almost 70% of GDP, an increase of 13.41% in 8 years. Not good, but recoverable.
In 3.5 years obama has skyrocketed that number to 105.32%! That's an increase of 20.12%! In 3.5 years!
Again, obama's failed policies have given the people of the United States more debt than production.
And finally obama states that he will cut oil imports in half by 2020... After he told Brazil-
“We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.” b.h.obama
Oh, this was after he gave them $2,000,000,000.00 of the taxpayers' money so that China could drill off their coast.
Again, not to make you all glassy eyed with the facts, but here they are- drilling permits and leases have been at their lowest levels during the obama years, the lowest levels since '03. Defaults and bankruptcies of government funding in the green energy sector continue to mount. More failed obama policy.
Let's not forget that obama was going to 'cut the deficit in half' by the end of his first term. Well, that time is quickly arriving and we as a country now owe $16,000,000,000,000.00 plus. obama has done just the opposite of what he stated in '08. But maybe that is what he meant, not cut it in half, but increase it by half.
While we're reminiscing, in 'blueprint' obama stated that he wanted to go 'line by line and revise the Federal Budget' and restore 'fiscal discipline' in congress. Guess he forgot about that because congress hasn't passed a budget in three years. I guess that golf outings and vacations are more important to obama than fiscal discipline.
Maybe obama never heard the old saying- If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing you need to do is to stop digging. obama is trying to bring in the steam shovel and dig at warp speed burying the United Sates in the process.
And finally, for you women out there that have bought into the obama's harpies' argument that there is a republican 'war on women', do your own research. You will find that there is no war. Women aren't going to be thrown back to the middle ages and loose all their Constitutional rights. The only one trying to do that is obama. You're already willing to give up your right to choose your provider, you really think that obama's going to stop there?
The argument over free contraceptives is a fallacy. Sorry Sandra, there already is free birth control. No body is taking away the opportunity for you to get oral contraceptives, or plan b, or abortions. The argument is who should pay for them. Frankly, if the birth control is really an issue, and cannot be afforded, than use the free condoms available. If that's not convenient or not what you 'prefer' then get a job and pay for your own if your insurance doesn't cover them, which you will already know when applying for the job, because all you have to do is ask. But don't expect a religious organization to pay for such things that they find reprehensible. That is against their Constitutional rights, or is that only a one way street?
So what happens when this is pointed out? The harpies change the argument to affordable health care.
That is a discussion worth having. But this is an effort that the private sector needs to take on, not the government. They have already proven, no matter who is in office, that reasonable costs and efficiency are lost when they are involved.
