2 minute drill..

I thought that I would get my rants out early this week because I am going to do something a bit different this weekend.

First: obama continues to put the US down while he tours abroad.  The state of the economy, the safety of our boarders and his inept foreign policy are never at issue as he consistently points to proportionately meager social issues as main roadblocks for America.  Why?  Because the world around him is falling apart-our allies are being left out in the cold, and our enemies have no respect for the obama administration.  The internal structure of the US is failing due to obama's continued governmental suppression and special interest legislation.  There is nothing left for obama to ruin except the social structure.  Then he will have successfully fundamentally change the US from a top world leader to a flailing third rate socialist state.

Second: it is now confirmed that kerry is an idiot.  The fact that the obama administration has made every effort to woo Palestinian support at the cost of our relationship with Israel is no secret.  Now he comes out and makes it quite clear that the administration is blatantly anti-semitic, looking to create a situation that could quite possibly lead to war. Idiot.  Why hasn't sharpton or jackson called for kerry's resignation after his anti-semitic remarks?  Or is racism only punishable, in their eyes, if black people are the victims?

Third: The sterling outcome should have been expected, MLB set the bar with the shot decision, so any less a penalty would have been suspect.  However:  everyone seemed to already know how sterling felt, yet it appears that he never acted out or made any decisions based on those feelings.  So if not blindsided by his 'girlfriend,' his thoughts and feelings would not be public and life would have gone on as always.  I guess my question is this:  Freedom of speech has its price, but the freedom to speak is still a freedom, isn't it?

Lastly: I find the uproar over Sarah Palin's  Baptism comment unwarranted.  In fact I think that the tongue in cheek comment worked in two ways.  First it was in support of taking those people that threaten the US and its allies and letting them know that we (or in this case, she) would do what was necessary to garner information from them.  Second, if the mere thought of torture isn't enough to deter some radical Islamist, maybe the  thought of being Baptized and losing all those virgins would be.  Just saying.

Limbo, obama style..

I could be speaking of the Keystone XL pipeline decision.  Or the hundreds, if not thousands, of e-mails the IRS has refused to produce for review. Or the Three Stooges effort at finding out just who is in charge of the obamacare debacle.

Limbo can be a hellacious holding pattern. Or an effort to get as low as possible.  Both actually fit the description of the obama administration.

It appears that every time a scandal emerges within the obama administration they either run in circles stating that they don't know who made the order or who is in charge of what occurred, or they simply slow the release of information to less than a trickle and shrug, citing the old cliche' of big government ineptness.

Even worse, in some cases it appears that the scandals coming to light have emboldened the corrupt. Case in point here are the recent actions by the IRS and the BLM.  Both organizations are under scrutiny for corrupt acts and yet both attempted these past few weeks to push the envelope even further.  Why?  Because there has been little to no push back and as soon as there is they come to a grinding halt and start with the limbo holding pattern again.

This administration has found a way to stall at every corner and then change the topic.  Well, you're concerned about this?  Well, so are we, look at that. And around and around it goes.  Sick of being on this ride?

Added to the domestic merry-go-round that is the obama administration is the utter failure of its foreign policy.   obama has succeeded in shrinking the stature of the US on the world stage to that of a stand in.  And yet he continues to bloviate when abroad feigning strength.

obama's most recent visit to Korea is one such example.  After continued emaciation of our military obama once again antagonizes a foreign power, in this case North Korea, and belittles their actions.  Then he threatens them with military force if they should act against our allies.

It is no coincidence that obama has become the world equivalent of the parent that says "no", threatens to ground the child, then does nothing and lets the child get away with the misbehavior.

My biggest fear is if obama snaps under the weight of world scrutiny and disrespect.  he thought that he was all that and a bag of chips, turns out he is just another socialist sociopath from some university who was coddled along to a point beyond his own ineptness.  Corrupt and cornered, lying and word play will only go so far before we as a country will be dragged into something other than an economic embargo.

Don't take my word for it.  Do the research.  You are not going to like what you find.

Is Rainbow the new Black?

There is no denying that racism has put a permanent scar on our history in the US.  There is no denying that there is still racism throughout the world, albeit not to the extent it once was.  We, in the name of humanity, have been able to eradicate much of it.

Yet with all the good that's been done to squelch racism there are still those individuals that inject it into situations were there is none, ala sharpton and jackson.

Such actions rarely do more than create a chasm between groups where none was before, creating fresh wounds and inciting counter productive behavior.

Now another group that has been maligned and discriminated against is using like tactics.

The most recent example is the resignation of mozilla ceo Brendan Eich.

There are those in the homosexual community that are less tolerant than the people whose lives they choose to ruin in the name of 'equality'.

Eich's support of traditional marriage isn't a bigoted position, yet certain factions in the lgbt community took the opportunity prove that intolerance and bigotry is exactly what THEY stand for.

Just like the insertion of racism is used every time an outcome isn't what some people would like, the insertion of bigot or homophobe is now being used when it is discovered that someone does not agree with an lgbt position.

There is no comparison beyond the tactics employed that I am looking to make here.  It is the ruination of individuals for the sake media coverage that they hold in common.  They have found an avenue by which they can vocalize an intolerant message while seeming the victim.  They have found a way to persecute those with dissimilar beliefs simply because they are there.

They have become what they once loathed.
