careless and care less...

Even with the facts about the true costs and nature of "obamacare" coming out every day, obama and his minions and harpies can't step away from their pet abortion.  obama continues to lie about the fact that the GOP leaders in congress are some how responsible for the continued shut down of government, because they are "unwilling to negotiate".   Yet, obama's version of negotiating, as it always has been, is to do what he says.  The true villains in this scenario are obama and those that are blindly supporting what ever trash comes out of his mouth.  If obama and his minions and harpies were even remotely concerned about the country, they would be passing those budget items that congress has approved and then negotiate those that haven't been approved.

Congress is doing what is Constitutionally legal, unlike obama, who in his egotistical fog has been changing and selectively enforcing laws in an UNCONSTITUTIONAL manner since elected.  That is called being a DESPOT.

I love analogies and metaphors, they help us learn when used properly.

That being said, your 'ruler incompetent' obama misused one earlier this week when he compared raising the debt ceiling to 'making a truck payment on a new f150', criticizing Congress for not passing a budget and stating that they are governing from "crisis to crisis".  Of course this was after his lie about the fact that raising the debt ceiling would not increase debt.

When has raising the debt ceiling "not" increased debt?  Would the GOP need to govern from "crisis to crisis" if obama didn't create each and every "crisis"?

The answer is never and no, respectively, if you were unsure.

Then there is the truck payment metaphor.  Probably wrote that one himself, as off base as it is.

Here is a better one, one that actually addresses the root of the issue:

You own a house, and for arguments sake you own it free and clear with no other liabilities.
You earn a monthly income, we'll go with $1,000.
The house is worth $200,000.
A bank is willing to give you a line of credit.  The first year it was for $10,000.  OK, it only took 10% of your salary to pay the monthly obligation, and you had other uses for more money freed up so you asked for and increase in the loc.
The bank grants you an additional amount, and this continues until you max out the loc at $200,000 and you are using all of your monthly income to payback the debt.
You would think that it should end there, but it doesn't.  You ask for more because now you want to be able to do something other than work to pay debt, and the bank says they will go slightly higher, but you need to find another way to get more money to pay the now crushing debt.

Do you see the problem here?

The core issue is that the government has a FINITE source of revenue.
They are currently borrowing money to pay for programs that they CANNOT afford.
They are looking to increase that borrowing to support these programs as well as establishing new ones.
The US is over 100% in the debt to GDP ratio, we are dying a slow death economically, and obama is looking for a cliff to push us over.

The answer, not so simple and not so clean, is to stop the increased spending.  Until the government gets a handle on their fiscal responsibilities there should be mandatory austerity across the board on all programs that aren't attached to National defense.  They need to start giving programs back to the private sector and stop the 'pork' that pervades at every turn in DC.

With some discomfort now we will be able to avoid the agonizing pain of a completely failed economy later.
