I wish I could take credit for this analogy, however I heard it many times over the past weeks, "Putin is playing chess, while obama is playing checkers."
I think that after the events of the past few days we could go a bit further and say that obama and kerry aren't even playing checkers. They're playing peek-a-boo. And losing.
There appears to be no humbling in the obama camp however, as they rush around trying to spin Putin's actions as some sort of co-operative effort. The fact is, Putin is calling the shots with regard to Syria. Putin has NO respect for obama or ANY of his corrupt and inept administration.
I guess that hilary had her "reset" button calibrated for the 1970s, cause that's where she shot the US - Russian relations back to. I cannot fathom anyone considering her for a presidential position when she was a lackluster senator, and has already risen to the level of her own incompetence as Secretary of State. She wasn't able to handle foreign relations, she wasn't able to handle her own people, and as far as I am concerned, she is criminally negligent in the deaths of at least four brave Americans.
I suppose there will be those that will vote for her because she is a woman. Of course that type of thinking is why we are in the mess we are in now.
So, kerry and obama cannot seem to get on the same page regarding Syria while Putin starts a propaganda campaign to squash any future aggression, um, is forecasting everything you are about to do really aggressive? I guess so, after all if a guy says he is going to punch another fellow in the nose on the count of three, and that that is going to be the only hit he will receive, that is kind of aggressive. Of course the other fellow has already protected his nose by that time, and by all counts of law can retaliate in self protection.
Hmm, can an impotent attack be considered an act of war? Yeah, according to everyone outside obamaland.
Putin gave obama an out. Putin did so because of his self interests, and that of his country. Is he telling the truth about Assad? Who knows. What difference at this point does it make?
Had our relationships with other countries been nurtured, had you elected someone who knew how to "play chess," had you elected a man of character instead of a character of a man... Woulda, coulda, shoulda.... "If" in one hand and obama in the other...
And this all distracts us of what is going on domestically, as the obamacare onslaught continues. Representative Tom Graves is proposing a plan to defund this train wreck of a law and I say that anyone who doesn't support Graves' bill should be recalled. It is now up to the people to take action for what is in OUR best interest. If obama cronies want to vote along party lines, if those we elected don't have the backbone to support what is in the Nation's best interest, they need to be sent home. It is time to set a new standard, that the laws for the people are created by the people, and apply to EVERYONE.
I wonder what the media slant will be on this. If the newest Senate definition of who is considered a journalist comes to fruition it will most likely be, oh, wait a moment, aren't all of the journalists now working for the obama corruption administration? I guess that's what being a "journalist" is all about now. Kiss the ass of someone in a corrupt regime so that you can get a cushy job as a mouthpiece for that ass.
I don't know if obamaland will last another 3.5 years. I don't think they can continue pushing the cover ups down the road and hiding the complete lack of leadership, the rule by corruption and threat, that has been the obama administration. But then again, we have a media that is more concerned about making news than reporting facts.
