Safe spaces and pre-assigned alcoves for open ideas have replaced free thought, freedom of speech and open debate. Never mind the loss of actual education.
The addiction problem in the US is still spiking with the latest drug of choice being opioids.
The incidents of violent behavior are used to further the progressive narrative, even though these acts can be traced to the absence of coping mechanisms due to ingrained progressive ideology.
Make no mistake, progressives want you to believe in the possibility of a "utopian" society. But the progressive reality is a citizenry that is numb to free thought, that is intolerant, even violent to outside ideas and that is dependent on the perceived generosity of the government.
The successes that progressives have made in these areas is frightening.
You only have to look at the knee jerk reactions when the media, also controlled by the progressives, touts the latest "social" injustice. It's immediate, baseless and sustained by monies provided by those progressives in power that benefit from it. Often these incidents are embellished and overblown by the media, and yes, without actual fact or acknowledgement of truth as it is uncovered.
Look at the attacks on the second amendment.
Heinous acts committed by someone with a gun now warrants that nobody should have a gun. A knee jerk reaction devoid of thought and based in emotion. The perfect progressive reaction.
What better way to control a society than to penalize the masses based on the actions of the few.
There is no country in the World that has open borders, yet progressives want you to believe that the US should.
What better way to control a society than to have a self regenerating underclass that is dependent on the government.
What better way to control a society than to have an ever increasing criminal element. The constant release of illegal aliens that commit crimes isn't protecting US citizens it's protecting the progressives in power.
What better way to pretend to care than to allow freedom of drug abuse. After all, we did have eight years with an "ex" drug dealer as President.
What better way to control a society than to segment it into factions that cannot work together with the one exception of looking to the government for acknowledgment.
What better way to spur people along than to point to micro societies that may have a modicum of control using socialist ideals, for now, and say that it would work in the US.
The ideal society for progressives is financially dependent on government, fractured and has a reflex reaction to progressive propaganda. Those are the citizens being produced by the current progressive educational system.
The fact is that socialism fails, every time, everywhere it's tried.
That is a constant.
That is the progressive "utopia".
