So when the phrase "alt right" became the mantra of the "main stream" media for fascist groups like the neo nazis the question has to be "Right of what, exactly?"
The fact is that the groups involved in the most recent series of events have been centered in fundamentals supported by a fascist mentality. In deed the ideology and actions of groups that support race based superiority such as nazis, la rosa, blm, nbp and yes even the race baiting cbc are all hinged loosely to fascism.
Being a nationalist does not make you a fascist any more than being a progressive automatically makes you a socialist. The intertwining of ideologies tends to muck up and blur any real lines between any of these groups, however once you brand another group based on a single aspect of their ideology even if it isn't supported by factual data you automatically pigeon hole yourself.
It is a well known fact that socialist groups use this methodology of slicing up society into factions in order to overpower the greater common sense of the society being overtaken. It happens frequently and it fails every time it's tried. The end result is always violence and greater chasms which result in greater government intrusion.
So why do people tend to lean in the direction of such destructive ideology?
It's based in self responsibility. It is far easier to abdicate authority over ones actions to the government eliminating the need to self police social structure than to take responsibility for ones neighbor or oneself. The erosion of community has been slow but is now not only exacerbated by the social attacks by fringe groups but by the shear number of groups themselves. What they fail to realize is that along with the erosion of social structure also comes the erosion of freedom.
Looking for what one considers equality because one deems themselves as a special subset of society is in essence looking for special treatment under laws that already exist. There is no way to satisfy the body of society if the fingers and toes expect to be represented as more than what they are. It is imperative that the body is represented as such and that each subsequent part is aided from within.
Sometimes the forfeiture of freedom comes in the Trojan Horse of "kindness".
A case in point would be the creation of national minimum wage.
Sounds great on its face, but as history has shown, it is ultimately doomed to fail and long term helps nobody.
It is the personal responsibility of the individual that is not earning enough to support themselves or their families to improve their economic standing, or put themselves in a more sustainable situation.
The false flag of a "livable" minimum wage forces those individuals to forfeit their freedom of economic mobility.
Yes, the incoming tide raises all boats in the harbor. However the fact is that the deck of the rowboat will never be at the same level as the deck of the yacht.
The fact is that any time the government intervenes in the economic or social issues of society they do more harm than good.
I have gone through the social issues of acceptance verses tolerance in previous posts, and won't go there in order to remain brief, but the media coverage of the social upheaval and their obvious partisanship cannot be ignored any more than the globalists and socialists behind them.
